It feels like just yesterday, I (Porter) sat down with a few close friends, and the idea for Porter & Co. emerged.
I wanted to create the small, boutique publishing firm that I’d always dreamed of but that dream came with a loudly ticking clock.
“If this company isn’t profitable within six months,” I told my friend Brabs, “we’ll have to close our doors.”
I shouldn’t have worried.
